Minis are small, man. Especially compared to yesterday’s Electra. The Electra isn’t quite twice as long (226 inches to 122 inches), but it’s pretty close. The Mini would fully fit inside the Electra’s 127-inch wheelbase, yet the Electra offered only 40% more passenger volume. Hmm. Something about space efficiency and all that.

1957 Studebaker President

This post is dedicated to my dog Scout, who left this earth today to hunt for the great rabbit in the sky. She was my faithful companion on the many walks I took in my search for old cars (the last picture is her barking at a cat across the street from this Studebaker), and a huge part of my life for the last ten years.

Rest easy, Scout. I miss you already. Catch that rabbit for me, okay?
